Mr. MASTER MANSince 1908 the proportion of higher paid clerks to surveyors of taxes has been increased. As regards relief to surveyors through alterations affecting their clerical staff, I would refer the hon. Member to the answer given by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer to the hon. Member for East Leeds on 25th April last.
