HC Deb 10 June 1912 vol 39 c663W
Mr. LYNCH

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in regard to Mr. Lawrence Cowen's play, "Tricked," for which a licence had been refused by a former Lord Chamberlain, he can state the grounds on which the Lord Chamberlain has decided to allow the play to be staged?

Mr. McKENNA

The Lord Chamberlain informs me that the grounds on which he issued a licence for the play "Tricked" were that a revised version was submitted to him with certain passages omitted and others altered.
