§ Mr. ACLANDAccording to a telegram received from the Governor of Nyassaland who was represented at the trial, the sen-486W tence was solitary confinement for one year; but, according to a telegram received from His Majesty's Minister at Lisbon, it was one year in a military convict prison or alternatively sixteen months' service in a disciplinary company. The Governor of Nyassaland is sending a report by mail.
