HC Deb 04 December 1912 vol 44 cc2309-10W
Mr. GINNELL

asked the Attorney-General whether the Director of Public Prosecutions will now obtain a list of all the persons who had access to the Crown Jewels in Dublin Castle at the time they were stolen in 1907 and of all admitted to the Castle at that time by those persons?

The ATTORNEY-GENERAL

The powers of the Director of Public Prosecutions are confined to offences which are alleged to have been committed in England and Wales, and do not extend to Ireland.
