HC Deb 02 April 1912 vol 36 cc1140-1W
Mr. LUNDON

asked the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture (Ireland) what particular districts of county Limerick did the engineer to the Department inspect as to coal, etc.; did he go through East Limerick, or that portion of it where it is said coal can be had, namely, Ballybrood, Drumkeen, Pallasgrean, Herbertstown, Kilteely, Ballybricken, and Caherconlish; and, if not, will steps be taken to make an inspection as soon as possible?

Mr. RUSSELL

The districts visited by the Department's mineral expert were those of Glin and Abbeyfeale. He will inspect the localities mentioned in the question at an early date, probably in the course of next week.
