HC Deb 29 November 1911 vol 32 cc545-6W
Mr. ASTOR

asked whether a charwoman who is employed regularly once a week or once a month by the same mistress will become an insured person under the National Insurance Bill; and, if so, what will the rate of her contribution be?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The rate of her contribution will be 6d. a week, payable by the first employer in the week, or by such other person as the Insurance Commissioners may by regulations determine.
