HC Deb 27 November 1911 vol 32 c168W
Mr. SAMUEL YOUNG

asked the Chancellor whether he has received a communication from the medical profession of Belfast intimating their willingness to accept for Ireland the medical benefits under the National Insurance Bill on similar lines to those applying in England?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I have received a letter from the Belfast Division of the British Medical Association to the effect that at a largely attended meeting of medical practitioners of the association it was unanimously recommended that they favoured the inclusion in the Bill of medical benefits for Ireland under the same conditions as in England.
