Mr. LANSBURY

asked the President of the Board of Trade, whether he will furnish the House with a list of the staff of the Central Office of the Labour Exchanges Department, distinguishing between those who entered the service of the Board by means of open competitive examinations under the auspices of the Civil Service Commissioners and those who were appointed by the President under the Labour Exchanges Act; whether he will show the relative positions of these two classes of public servants in regard to salaries and seniority; and whether there is anything in the nature of the duties performed by those who were appointed by the President
