Mr. KELLYasked the Secretary of State for War if he can state why William Kane, Private No. 2709 D Company, late 5th Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, has not received his training bounty of £3 yearly for the last two years; and whether, seeing that this man is still entitled to be called out, he will see that the usual bounty be paid?
§ Mr. HALDANEThis man having elected to remain as a Militiaman on the formation of the Special Reserve, ceased to be entitled to non-training bounty after 1st February, 1909. He remains liable to service until his engagement terminates, but he is entitled to take a free discharge at any time if he so desires.
