asked the President of the Board of Trade what is the average annual value imported into the United Kingdom from Canada of laths, sawed boards, planks, deals, and other lumber, planed, tongued, grooved, or variously finished?

The descriptions of timber are on importation into the United Kingdom included under the general heading, "Wood and timber, sawn or split, planed or dressed." The average value of the imports from Canada under this heading during the last three years has been £3,058,000.
