HC Deb 21 February 1911 vol 21 c1871W
Mr. O'DOWD

asked the Chief Secretary whether a deputation from the Congested Districts Board has recently waited on the Development Fund Board with a view to taking common action in regard to the question of arterial drainage in the West of Ireland; and, if so, if he can state whether any definite scheme has been decided upon?

Mr. BIRRELL

A committee of the Congested Districts Board had an interview recently with the chairman and vice-chairman of the Development Commission, at which the question of arterial drainage amongst others was discussed. No definite scheme in relation to any of the matters discussed was decided upon.
