HC Deb 13 February 1911 vol 21 c838W
Major ARCHER-SHEE

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he will consider the advisability of so modifying the present musketry course of Territorial infantry battalions who would otherwise be unable to carry out their course owing to the condemnation of ranges, as to permit of their carrying out a course and so avoid being classed as inefficient?

Mr. HALDANE

Yes, Sir. A modification in certain practices of the Annual Musketry course for trained men of the Territorial Force is now being considered with the view of enabling certain ranges to be used which would otherwise be condemned owing to safety considerations.
