§ Mr. BURNSThe total number of loans sanctioned for small holdings and allotments since the 1st of January, 1908 (the date on which the Small Holdings and Allotments Act, 1907, came into force), is 1,235, amounting to £2,028,430. Of these, 1136 loans, amounting to £1,941,329, were sanctioned for small holdings, and 99 loans, amounting to £87,101, for allotments:—
