§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Local Government Board are not supplied with particulars of the religious denominations of tenants of cottages provided under the Labourers Acts, or as to whether they are wholly engaged at agricultural work or partly at other work. The Rural District Council it is assumed are satisfied that the persons they select as tenants come within the definition of agricultural labourer laid down by the Acts, and their selection is not subject to review by the Board.
