HC Deb 21 April 1911 vol 24 c1329W
Mr. CRUMLEY

asked the Chief Secretary whether he is aware that the Estates Commissioners propose to vest in Sarah Foster a large tract of land situate in Blackslea, county Fermanagh, on the estate lately acquired from Lord Ely; that Sarah Foster already occupies two holdings in the same townland with an area of nearly eighty acres, while in the immediate neighbourhood there are a number of small landholders who are most anxious to acquire the Blackslea tract for the enlargement of their uneconomic holdings; and whether he will call the immediate attention of the Estates Commissioners to the facts with a view to their vesting this tract of Blackslea in those who are most in need of it?

Mr. BIRRELL

I have referred this question and the information which the hon. Member has kindly furnished with regard to it to the Estates Commissioners, who inform me that the matter will be duly considered by them.
