Mr. HAYDN JONES

asked the Home Secretary whether Mr. G. J. Williams, His Majesty's senior inspector of metalliferous mines and quarries for North Wales, is about to retire under the age limit; and whether, in appointing a successor, experience and training in metalliferous mining and quarrying and a knowledge of the Welsh language will be made essential qualifications?
