HC Deb 21 May 1910 vol 116 cc407-8W
Captain BROWN

asked the Secretary of State for War whether sufficient officers in the Machine Gun Corps have volunteered for the Armies of Occupation to enable every non-volunteer in this corps to be relieved; and if arrangements have been made for relieving non-volunteers in the Eastern theatres of occupation?

Captain GUEST

The answer to the first part of my hon. and gallant Friend's question is in the negative. As regards the second part of the question, arrangements have been made to relieve those officers of the Machine Gun Corps in the Eastern theatres of war who have not volunteered for the Armies of Occupation, and these arrangements are being pressed forward as fast as possible.
