HC Deb 21 March 1910 vol 15 cc916-7W
Mr. KENNETH FOSTER

asked the President of the Local Government Board whether any action is contemplated by the Government in view of the recommendations of the Royal Commission on Water Supply, 1869 (Report, paragraph 264), of the Royal Commission on Salmon Fisheries (Report, 1902, pages 62–3, recommendations 1 (b) and 3), of the Royal Commission on Sewage Disposal (Third Report, 1903, paragraphs 44–9, 57, 60, 65, 70–3, 74), and of the representations made to him by the County Councils' Association in 1903 (Third Report, Sewage Disposal Commission, Appendix A, page 6), and the Metropolitan Water Board in 1907 (Water Board Minutes, 1907, page 485), with reference to the appropriation and regulation of catchment areas for public water supplies?

Mr. BURNS:

This matter is engaging my attention in connection with a Bill which will shortly come on for consideration in another place.
