§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Local Government Board upheld the appeal of the pension officer in this case as they were not satisfied from the evidence submitted that Bridget McGourty had attained the statutory age. There was no proof adduced that the person named Ellen in the Census extract was the cliamant Bridget, and the only other evidence she produced was a marriage certificate, which showed that she was married in 1864.
