HC Deb 28 April 1910 vol 17 c743W
Mr. LUNDON

asked the Chief Secretary whether during the term which Major Kenny occupied Valley Park, Caherconlish, county Limerick, he paid the yearly annuity which the place was subject to; if not, how much was due at the time he surrendered the place; and whether any moneys were deducted from the rates of the county Limerick to make good the deficit?

Mr. BIRRELL

The Estates Commissioners inform me that Major Kenny held the lands referred to under lease from them subject to a rent which he left unpaid during his occupancy. The arrears of rent due by him amount to £295, and the Commissioners have resumed possession. No money was deducted from the rates of county Limerick to make good the deficit?
