§ Mr. HALDANEI am informed that no men of the Artillery have been required to turn out horses for Territorial units on Saturday afternoons as a punishment, and that when horses have been turned out batteries have taken it in turns to furnish them.
§ Sir JOHN ROLLESTONasked the Secretary of State for War whether 1s. 6d. is charged for horses used by Territorial units for mounted drills at certain Cavalry and Artillery barracks, although 1s. is the price laid down by the War Office; and, if so, will he give instructions that the regulation relating to this matter be adhered to in the future?
§ Mr. HALDANEThe War Office has no information that the regulation has been broken, and I shall be very glad if the hon. Member will give me the detailed information to enable inquiry to be made into the matter.
