Dr. O'NEILLasked the Chief Secretary whether steps will be taken by the Estates Commissioners with a view to the reinstatement of Ellen M'Mahon, of Grave-more, county Armagh, an evicted tenant from the Charlemont estate, county Armagh, in her former holding?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Estates Commissioners received from Ellen M'Mahon an application for reinstatement in a holding on this estate. As her application was received after 1st May, 1907, the date mentioned in the Evicted Tenants Act, 1907, it cannot be dealt with under that Act.
§ Mr. HAZLETONasked the Chief Secretary whether the Estates Commissioners have received a copy of a resolution passed by the Louth County Council with reference to the case of Mr. Joseph Londen, evicted tenant, Castletown, county Louth; whether the Commissioners offered Mr. Londen a farm three times smaller than the one from which he was evicted; who is in possession of Mr. Londen's former holding; and whether the Commissioners will reconsider their decision and secure a farm for Mr. Londen?
