HC Deb 28 April 1910 vol 17 cc759-60W
Mr. WILLIAM O'BRIEN

asked the Chief Secretary whether the inspector now engaged on the Lowe estate, which includes the village of Galbally, county Limerick, and the agreements for which were signed five years ago, will be instructed to include in the sale the occupying tenants and sub-tenants of Galbally, as in the case of Castlerea and a number of other towns and villages purchased under the Act of 1903?

Mr. BIRRELL

The purchase agreements in connection with the estates of John M. Low, county Limerick, were lodged with the Estates Commissioners in 1906. The official at present on the property is a surveyor who is checking the boundaries of the holdings. When the property is visited by the inspector in order of priority the cases of the tenants and sub-tenants referred to in the question will be inquired into.
