HC Deb 20 April 1910 vol 16 cc2266-7W
Mr. LYNCH

asked the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether, in regard to the Reeves estate, near Killimer, West Clare, care will be taken that the untenanted land will be divided for the benefit of the tenants of the estate according to the intentions of the Land Act of 1909?

Mr. LYNCH also

asked the Chief Secretary whether he can state, in regard to the Reeves estate, near Killimer, West Clare, the date on which the sale was ordered; and whether the sale will be carried out without unnecessary delay?

Mr. BIRRELL

I understand that this estate is the subject of proceedings in the Land Judge's court, and that the documents in connection with its sale were lodged on 3rd December last. It will be dealt with in order of priority, but its turn has not yet come. The requirements of the tenants will be duly considered in the allotment of the untenanted land.
