HC Deb 05 April 1910 vol 16 c409W
Mr. WEIR

asked if the Secretary for Scotland can see his way to so vary the basis on which crofting areas are defined congested as to bring within the congested districts poor parishes in the Highland crofting counties such as Lochcarron. Ross-shire?

Mr. URE

The case of Lochcarron has been more than once before the Congested Districts Board, but in view of the general considerations involved they have not felt justified in departing from the basis originally fixed after mature deliberation.
