HC Deb 05 April 1910 vol 16 cc409-10W
Mr. LARDNER

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will inquire from the Great Northern Railway of Ireland why the train passing Monaghan Road Station at 5.20 p.m. has ceased to stop at this station except on Saturdays, notwithstanding the fact that a memorial extensively signed by the residents of the surrounding districts was presented to the company; and, further, will he ask them to explain why they have discontinued the service of the train to this station after a period of over twenty years, during which it always stopped at Monaghan Road?

Mr. BUXTON

I have communicated with the railway company on this subject, and have received a reply of which I am sending the hon. Member a copy.
