§ Mr. SYDNEY BUXTONThe value of the contracts placed with firms having their premises in Scotland, during the financial year 1908–9, for uniform clothing and waterproof garments amounted to nearly £12,000. This sum represents about 5 per cent. of the total value of the contracts placed for such articles in the United Kingdom. No tenders for boots or headdresses were received from Scotland.
