§ Mr. BIRRELLOne thousand and forty-two applications have been received by the Estates Commissioners from persons seeking reinstatement as tenants, or the representatives of tenants, evicted from holdings in county Kerry. Two hundred and ninety-seven of the applicants have been reinstated or provided with new holdings, the names of 121 have been provisionally noted for consideration in the allotment of untenanted land, 479 applications have been refused after inquiry, and 145, received since the date prescribed by the Evicted Tenants Act, have not been inquired into.
