§ Mr. GLADSTONEThe number of fixed points is 753. As some are 8, some 16, and some 24 hour points, the actual number of men required for this duty during the 24 hours. is 1,521. I am informed by the Commissioner of the City Police that 36 constables are on point duty on Sundays in the City.
