§ Mr. SUMMERBELLasked the President of the Board of Education if he can state how many medical officers for elementary schools have made reports to his Department; and whether it is the intention of the Government to issue a Report in regard to the same, giving the number of children examined and particulars as to their general health, and also reforms, if any, recommended by such medical officers?
§ Mr. RUNCIMANAbout 130 Reports have been received up to the present date. The Board contemplate the issue of a Report in due course on the work of medical inspection, but I am not in a position to indicate precisely what the contents of the Report will be.
