§ Mr. CLYNESasked the President of the Local Government Board, in view of 202W the evils arising from the position of thousands of mentally defective persons in our workhouses and the recommendations of the Poor Law Commission thereon, whether the proposals of the Commission have been considered by the Government; and whether some early action can be taken in the matter?
§ Mr. BURNSAt present I can only say that the recommendations of the Royal Commission on this and other matters are engaging the attention of the Government.
