§ Mr. HOBHOUSEThe sum contributed by the Treasury towards the cost of valuation in Ireland during 1908–9 was £17,604. This excludes the amount contributed towards the cost of the revaluation of Dublin of which a portion is to be repaid. The contribution of local authorities was, as stated in the question, £8,000.
