Mr. CATHCART WASONasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is aware of the hardship that will be imposed on certain hotels in Scotland, which are entirely or partially closed during certain months of the year, by the new scale of license duties, and, in view of the fact that such hotels largely contribute to the comfort of tourists and travellers, whether he 1616W will consider if it is possible to grant such hotels some consideration?
