§ Mr. BIRRELLThere were ten trials before juries for cattle-driving in the year ended 31st March, 1908. One case resulted in a conviction, three in acquittals, and six disagreements. As regards the last paragraph of the question, I would refer the hon. Member to page 358 of the Appropriation Accounts for the year 1907–8, which have recently been presented to Parliament.
