§ Mr. HALDANEIt appears on inquiry that no American canned meat of the year 1905 has been recently issued to the troops at Caterham. The canned meat supplied to the troops is guaranteed by the contractors for two years from date of receipt into Army Stores, and the supplies are invariably consumed within that period.
