STRACHEYThe Board do not consider that the appointment of a Committee, as proposed, would be of sufficient service to justify the very considerable expenditure of time and labour which would be entailed. But perhaps the hon. and gallant Member would let me know the grounds upon which his suggestion is based and the objects to which he thinks that inquiry could with advantage be directed.
