§ Mr. O'SHAUGHNESSYasked the Chief Secretary if he can say what is the cause of the delay in completing the sale of the estate of R. E. Longfield, of Fort, county Limerick, the agreements for purchase by the tenants having been lodged in August, 1905; whether agreements in the estate which were subsequently lodged have been dealt with; and is the delay caused by the landlord, his agent, or solicitor?
§ Mr. BIRRELLI am informed by the Estates Commissioners that the greater number of the agreements in the case of this estate were lodged in August, 1905, and the residue in the months of April and November, 1906. Having regard to its place on the priority list, the Commissioners anticipate that the estate will be inspected at an early date. There has been no undue delay on the part of the owner or his representatives.
