§ Mr. CHIOZZA MONEYasked the Secretary to the Treasury, with reference to the promoted clerks in the Statistical Department in the Customs House, whether it is the general practice to count towards superannuation temporary service of character similar to the following established service; and, if so, upon what grounds the full unestablished service of the persons referred to has not been allowed as counting for pension?
