§ Mr. BUXTONI am afraid that I cannot arrange for the completion of the telephone extension to Burnham-on-Crouch in time for use during the earlier part of the holiday season, as through pressure of work the engineers will be unable to finish the line this month. I will, however, have the work pushed forward as rapidly as possible.
