Member for South Somerset, as representing the President of the Board of Agriculture, if a communication has been received from the Royal Gardens, Kew, Employes' Union, appealing for a reduction of their working hours, and pointing out that their hours in summer are from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., whereas the men at the Royal parks, London County Council parks, and Bushy and Richmond parks have much better working conditions, and, further, that the later employés enjoy a much longer leave of absence; and, if so, can he state what action it is intended to take in order to bring about more reasonable hours of labour?
