HC Deb 02 December 1909 vol 13 cc588-9W
Mr. J. P. FARRELL

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland whether any steps have yet been taken by the Estates Commissioners to divide the lands of Toneymore, county Longford, amongst the people; and, if not, when a scheme will be prepared?

Mr. BIRRELL

The Estates Commissioners are unable, from the particulars given, to identify these lands as pending for sale before them. I would suggest that the hon. Member should communicate with the Commissioners, giving for the purpose of identification the name of the estate on which the lands are situate.
