asked the President of the Board of Education whether he will favourably consider the question of providing in next year's Education Estimates for increased grants to education authorities in order to meet the increased cost caused by medical inspection of schools, school meals for children, and smaller classes?

asked the President of the Board of Education, if he is in a position to announce any prospect of an increased ratio of Government grant as suggested by the deputation of local education authorities which waited on the Prime Minister and on himself on 18th March last?
