HC Deb 04 August 1909 vol 8 c1962W
Sir HENRY CRAIK

asked the Lord Advocate whether he has had his attention called to a fatal accident caused by a traction engine near Fortingal, in Glen Lynn, on 11th June last, by which two girls lost their lives; and whether there are any special reasons for holding that the case is one in regard to which a public inquiry ought not to be held?

Mr. URE

My attention has already been called to the accident referred to, and I have ordered an inquiry to be held.
