To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many people have received drug treatment in prison in each year since 1997 as a percentage of (a) the prison population and (b) the total demand. [182303]

The information requested is as follows:

(a) People in prison receiving drug treatment as a percentage of those received into prison annually since 2001 (the first year in which drug treatment figures were collected) is given in the following table.
