§ Ms Blears[holding answer 16 July 2003]: In common with the principles in place for a number of members of the senior civil service across Government, the Head of the Police Standards Unit will be entitled to an annual bonus, of up to 15 per cent. of his basic salary, subject to his performance against a set of specific objectives and targets to be agreed at the start of each reporting period between himself and the Permanent Secretary, Crime, Policing, Counter-Terrorism and Delivery in the Home Office.
