§ Miss Melanie JohnsonInformation concerning the number of pensioners aged 75 or over by parliamentary constituency, given in written answers by Treasury Ministers between 14 December 2000 and 2 April, was derived from estimates published by the Department of Social Security. These estimates were incorrect. The Department of Social Security has corrected the error and published revised and updated statistics in "Retirement 675W Pensioners, by Parliamentary Constituency and Age in Great Britain—at 30 September 2000", a copy of which is available in the Library of the House.
