§ Mr. Charles ClarkeThe number of vulnerable 15 and 16-year-old boys remanded to local authority secure accommodation at the end of each month to 31 March 2000 is given in the table. Information provided by the Youth Justice Board for England and Wales indicates that from 1 April to 30 June 2000, 65 such secure remands were made. Information on those declared to be vulnerable by the courts for whom a place in local authority secure accommodation was not available is not held centrally.
