§ Mr. BattleWe have kept closely in touch with the Chilean Government since Senator Pinochet's arrest in October 1998. My right hon. Friend the Foreign Secretary has met the Chilean Foreign Minister three times, most recently in New York last September. These meetings have all been open and friendly.
