HC Deb 09 March 1999 vol 327 c185W
Mr. Webb

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what information is provided by his Department's Family Revenues Survey about the proportion of pensioners aged 80 years or over living in multiple benefit unit households relative to that of all people over pensionable age. [75221]

Mr. Timms

According to the 1996–97 Family Resources Survey (GB) 21 per cent. of pensioners aged 80 years or over were living in multiple benefit unit households compared with 19 per cent. of other people over pensionable age.
