§ Mr. MeacherI am grateful to the Committee for further advice, which among other things, seeks a more rigorous approach to implementation through introduction of quarterly compliance reporting and forward planning for increasing recycling and recovery of packaging waste. I shall be including these proposals in the consultation paper on inter sectoral share out and other matters which I hope to publish very shortly. Copies of both documents will be placed in the Library.
